Soundproofing measures in the canteen of Sparebank 1 in Oslo

A lot of noise and clamour in the canteen at Sparebank 1 in Oslo made it uncomfortable during the lunch break. It was difficult to relax and talk to each other. We solved this in a great way together with the customer. 

This is what it looked like before we did our installation

We assembled a number of Loki^™Circle white (three sizes) with wire ceiling. With slightly different heights, it became a great decoration in addition to the best sound absorption. The canteen had what is known as a «popcorn ceiling» and in addition a lot of sprinklers and other things in the ceiling which meant that it was not easy to glue absorbers directly to the ceiling and we adapted the circles around these.

In addition, it was installed Frigg™ 40 mm Beige around the kitchen island. We fitted a washing strip around the absorbers that can easily be wiped off in the event of spillages when the kitchen island is used for serving. Good tip for longer shelf life. 

The reverberation in the room was significantly reduced and the room became more comfortable to stay in, as well as being a cool design. Thanks for the assignment!
