The perfect burger, the perfect sound

Ouch Burger in Stavanger has enjoyed enormous success with its fantastic burgers. But behind the scenes, the venue presented a major challenge: the acoustics were dreadful. With high ceilings, a large room volume and hard surfaces, the reverberation was so intense that it was uncomfortable for both guests and staff. The noise levels were well outside the limits set by current regulations and NS8175.

Halved the reverberation time in record time

Before the intervention, the reverberation time was measured at as much as 1.50 Cheers. After we installed our acoustic solutions, this figure was more than halved – down to 0.77 Tsek. The result is good and the room now complies with NS8175, sound class C.

To complement the restaurant’s aesthetic, a combination of two stylish products was chosen:

• Eira™ 40 mm black, mounted on black panels at the top of the wall.
• Frigg™ 40 mm Beige, arranged in a decorative pattern on the wall.

From order to fully installed in 14 days

The entire project was completed at breakneck speed. In the space of just 14 days, the solution was approved, the goods delivered and everything installed.

Staff can now celebrate significantly improved working conditions, and guests can finally enjoy what the Stavanger Aftenblad calls «sprobably the best burger in town» – in a peaceful and pleasant setting.
